In the music ministry we are excited to present a collaboration between the bell and vocal choirs at the end of October. You might be used to hearing what has become a standard in our congregation: The Holden “Morning” Prayer by Marty Haugen, which we perform every fifth Sunday of a given month throughout the year. However, what you may not be used to is hearing it in its full glory. We are looking forward to moving towards that goal by adding the First United Handbell Choir to our upcoming presentation of that beautiful work. In addition, the full Vocal Choir will be present to lead the congregation, in addition to our own Rebecca Keith as the vocal soloist.
We hope you can join us Sunday, October 29 for this special presentation of music and liturgy as we approach All Saints’ Sunday.
